Buenos Vampiros

Brand Manual + Posters + Merchandising + Social Network assets
Project Overview
This project was the final thesis for getting the degree of Graphic Designer in ORT Argentina. The thesis consisted of analyzing an indie/under national or international band and re-imagining their entire brand, reconstructing not only the aesthetics but also doing a theoretical analysis regarding why did we consider the band needed a rebranding, setting a purpose for "selling" the project, and understanding the purpose behind each design pillar to be created: the website, marketing content for social network, merchandising and its promotion, tour posters and filters for Instagram which were both designed and coded by the team. Each design had to answer the question of what did we want to communicate and how the message relates to the new identity of the band.
My Contributions
We were a team of two persons, Nicolás Lound and I, we both came up with the idea of rebranding Buenos Vampiros and he took charge of the entire coding part of the project (coding the website, creating interesting animations) and also coding with the Instagram filters. I was 100% in charge of the visual parts of the project, setting an initial moodboard based on similar bands and modern trends on the indie/dark industry, translating that into a presentational identity poster, and then translating the identity to different kinds of pillars using a variety of miscellanious and designing techniques.
