After researching the four Gestalt principles, our task was to come up with a poster where the main figure had to be created combining several of them. The choice of the theme was free.

I wanted to experiment with proximity, symmetry and order, and thought that drawing a robot would have both visual and theoretical meaning. Since I love anime, I choose the Eva-01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion since the head of the mecca is very well recognized. Using different basic tools we had learned in AI, the main constraint was to use the forms, distances, and colors to my advantage to, for example, help give the illusion of shadow and depth.
