Project Overview
This project was developed after a thorough analysis of the argentinian drinks market regarding applications. We found there were two main Apps: Pedidos Ya and Rappi, that basically capitalize all of the orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Although there are other services specifically catered towards alcoholic beverages and supposedly more efficient, their UI was mostly old e-commerce based, lacking an identity and very difficult to use, some of them not even having a mobile version. The experience’s performance was completely lackluster, therefor all users prefer to pay maybe a little bit more and choose from a less diverse selection of drinks as Pedidos Ya and Rappi offer. FullEscabio was assigned as the business that could pose as the biggest competitor to the other Applications, after a much needed revamp towards a familiar shopping platform with a brand being clearly represented.
My Contributions
As an experienced developer, I was able to rapidly help identify which characteristics visually compose Full Escabio's brand, both visually and as a shopping Application. I was also a key part of the Quality Assesment process once all designs were completed, since I'm already very familiar with some Design Patterns and what the user expects from an application such as the one being designed. Having a sharp eye for details, I was able to catch many inconsistencies and pushed towards following a clean and clear path towards finalizing the shopping process.
